Interfacing
Based on the customer’s analytical needs we will identify what source data is required, and what the ideal frequency of data upload is.
Depending on each customer’s ability and available capacity, the customer can himself create extraction scripts to push data to Equazion, work with Mahindra Satyam – our technology partner - or chose to work with his typical third party service provider.
Once the data are made available, we will transform them into the Equazion template format. Scripts then run automatically to check data consistency and completeness. After each upload, a report is sent to the application owner, with a business summary of the detailed data (a completeness check), with alerts on possible inconsistencies between the various tables, precisely identifying possible issues.
All the same, getting 100% clean master data is not a must. We will evaluate together whether the level of data correctness adds the necessary insight to a specific strategic or tactical business decision.
Once the data are there, you are ready to start using Equazion, as most of the analyses are “plug and play”. Only if you want to add KPIs or advanced business specific analytics will we need additional time to include those.
Hosting
Several engagement options exist, to start using Equazion. We will align with you on your preferences/internal constraints and propose a best fit. You can start using Equazion by just piloting it during a business-consulting project, rent it on a yearly basis, decide to purchase a license, or run Equazion in a SaaS mode.
We see more and more customers willing to outsource the hardware function to Mahindra Satyam or their own service provider, so that more attention can go to business-value realization. Together, we decide how much computing power and storage capacity you need. Managing the hardware, monitoring it, backing it up, etc.: all can be taken care of by the hosting services.
Customization
You can leverage years of industry experience and significantly accelerate the timeline to deliver advanced analytics by using our prebuilt analytics. The analytics are quickly and easily configured to meet your exact business needs.
If, however, you want to add KPIs or advanced business-specific analytics, we will need some time to include those into the standard plug-and-play solution.
