In order to facilitate awareness workshops and executive training on product and customer performance management, we have built the Equazion Brewery case. This case study is used both in in-company training exercises and in MBA classes and post-experience programs of renowned business schools.
The Equazion Brewery case represents a simplified version of real life, with realistic data, in a consumer-goods environment. The brewery company sells a wide variety of products (cans, bottles, kegs, etc.) of different brands through various distribution channels: wholesalers, retailers and convenience stores. Increasing cost-to-serve and market-price pressure have driven the EBIT and RONA performance of the company to an all-time low.
Interactive workshops on RONA improvement
Through an internet connection, the audience gets access to the facts and figures and to the Equazion diagnostics. Interactive workshops guide the team towards a correct root-cause analysis of the problems and assist them in formulating recommendations for different improvement programs to reanimate the company’s RONA (return on net assets). The case has a modular construction and allows users to focus on one or more aspects, as listed below.
